Karan Singh Grover Biography
Karan Singh Grover (born 23 February 1982) is an Indian television actor and model. He began his television career in Ekta Kapoor's Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India. Karan is most recognized for playing the role of Dr.Armaan Mallik in Dill Mill Gayye (one of the most popular shows) on Star One.
Television career
Before starting his television acting career he did many modeling assignments, ramp shows, advertisements and even hosted a radio show. Later he entered the Gladrags Mega Model Manhunt Contest in 2004 and ended up winning the award for the 'Most Popular Model.' [1] Then through a nationwide talent hunt contest by Balaji Telefilms he, along with five others, got selected to play leads in an MTV show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. Then followed Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag finally ending up in Kasautii Zindagii Kay in a negative role. After that, he did Solhah Singaarr on Sahara One and some short stints on C.I.D. and Parrivaar, before doing the popular role of Dr. Armaan Mallik in Dill Mill Gaye . He anchored the STAR One reality television show Zara Nachke Dikha season 1. He was the second runner-up in the dance reality show - Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 3. In 2009 he co-hosted the music show Idea Rocks India on Colors TV. In 2010 he participated as a contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 3. Soon Karan will be seen featuring in a music video of singers Neha Kakkar & Sonu Kakkar. Currently he is hosting a traveling reality show "Perfect Couple" on channel [V] and soon he will be seen making a special appearance on the show Dil Dosti Dance on channel [V] as well. His new Bollywood movie Lorie is going to release in september 2011.
